معاش إعاقة CPP
معاش شهري — حتى 1,673 دولار/شهر
2026 Benefit Amounts
- Flat-rate portion: $610.46/month
- Maximum amount: $1,741.20/month
- Children's benefit: ~$302/month per child (indexed annually)
Eligibility
- Must have contributed to CPP (through employment)
- Disability must be "severe" — prevents you from working at any job regularly (not just your previous job)
- Disability must be "prolonged" — long-term and of indefinite duration, or likely to result in death
- Must be under 65
Common Denial Reasons
- Insufficient CPP contributions — need contributions in 4 of last 6 years
- "Can do other work" — CRA determines you could work a different job
- Insufficient medical evidence — not enough documentation of severity
- Application language — focuses on current job rather than any substantially gainful occupation
Quebec Note
Quebec has its own pension plan (QPP). Quebec residents apply for QPP Disability instead of CPP-D. The QPP disability pension has a flat-rate portion of $610.43/month (2026) plus a variable portion based on contributions, with a maximum of $1,737.67/month.
