Programs
At Home Program
Varies based on assessed needs; covers medical benefits and respiteBC's program providing medical benefits and respite for children with severe disabilities who are living at home with their families. Helps families with the extra costs of caring for a child with a severe disability at home rather than in a facility.
Eligibility: Child must have a severe disability and be living at home. Must be a BC resident. Assessment of the child's health and support needs is required.

Up to $22,000/year (up to $4,400 or 20% for training/equipment/travel)BC's autism funding for children under age 6, providing significant annual funding for eligible therapies including Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and Intensive Behavioural Intervention (IBI). Up to 20% of the funding ($4,400) can be directed toward training, equipment, and travel. TRANSITIONING: Autism funding shifts to the Disability Benefit + expanded free community services in July 2026, with full transition by March 2027.
Eligibility: Child must be under age 6 with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Must be a BC resident.
