Important for People with Disabilities

  • Provincial dental coverage: Some provincial disability programs (like ODSP in Ontario) include basic dental coverage. The CDCP may provide additional services not covered provincially.
  • Accessibility: When booking appointments, ask about wheelchair accessibility, sedation options, and accommodations for sensory sensitivities.
  • Coordinating benefits: If you have some dental coverage through a provincial program, the CDCP may cover remaining costs. Talk to your provider about how the plans coordinate.
