Tax Credits & Benefits Quick Reference
- Disability Tax Credit (DTC) — Up to $10,138 (adult) or $16,052 (child). The gateway to most other benefits.
- Canada Disability Benefit (CDB) — Up to $200/month for DTC-eligible adults
- Child Disability Benefit — Up to $266.67/month for parents of DTC-eligible children
- Canada Caregiver Credit — Up to $8,601 base amount for caregivers
- Medical Expense Tax Credit — 15% of eligible expenses over $2,834
- Home Accessibility Tax Credit — Up to $20,000 in eligible renovation expenses (DTC required)
- RDSP Grants — Up to $3,500/year, $90,000 lifetime (DTC required)
- RDSP Bonds — Up to $1,000/year, $20,000 lifetime for low-income (DTC required)
- Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) — Dental coverage for those under $90,000 income
